Our Story

Johnny Rocksmith started Shining Star Productions with the idea of providing music for events by offering a top-quality sound so the music can be heard the way it’s supposed to be. With karaoke as a passion, Johnny bought the software and rights to karaoke tracks. It’s been one helluva ride since.

Johnny has been in love with music from a young age. About a decade ago, Johnny had enough of the corny karaoke shows and decided he was going to become a karaoke jockey (KJ). He started investing in equipment, software, and music to put together the best karaoke sound around. We think he’s succeeded.
